Work from home and need to get out of the house? Check out these spots around the county, chosen by our reporters, where you can find a place to work with free WiFi.
Palm Beach Post reporters are always on the go. We're in the community, sometimes working from our cars, or city commission chambers, or coffee shops.
Who better to know where the best places are to work remotely in Palm Beach County?
From quiet, secluded spots with free WiFi, to hidden gems, to … parking lots? Yes. We've scoped out where to set up your laptop and plow through your to-do list.
What you will find on this list: A collection of coffee shops, libraries, book stores, restaurants, grocery stores, shopping malls and college campuses. Each spot is included because we've tried it ourselves.
You will see Starbucks, Panera Bread and a McDonald's. But we also included several local coffee shops, including two of locally grown Subculture Coffee's cafes.
One thing we did not include: Every branch in the Palm Beach County library system. There are 17 locations — yes, some are on our list — and each has room to plug in your laptop and free WiFi.
Click here for a printable map of every Palm Beach County library branch, including branch hours and phone numbers.
