On Sunday afternoon/evening, we celebrated our sweet girl's fourth birthday with
Ashby's Popsicle Party!

Ashby has been telling me for months and months that she wanted a popsicle party at the pool (and by that, she means our neighborhood country club pool...because she's obsessed with the diving board).  I'm pretty sure she was saying this before Christmas.  This girl had her heart set.  So, we made plans, invited her little friends and their families and headed off to the pool on Sunday afternoon.

I took a picture of her birthday sign before we left because I knew things would get chaotic later.  Isn't it so cute?!?  For those of you who don't know, my friend makes these birthday signs (not for the public, I hate to say) and we hang them on our birthday wall after each party.  Right now, we have quite the collection!

And then my friend Emily makes the cutest cupcakes with mini sugar cookies on top (I know...brilliant, right?!).  Aren't they so cute?!

So, we arrived at the pool ready to party!  We were feeding our guests dinner and cupcakes, so upon their arrival late that afternoon, they got their popsicles :).  Our birthday girl picked an orange push up pop!  She was so excited about her party!

Andrew and I have decided that summer birthday parties are our favorite :).

I love these sweet friends of mine and was so happy that they brought their families to celebrate with us!  More than that, I'm so happy that their kiddos have truly become friends with Ashby.  She loves all of them so much!

Our husbands were somewhere...but in the meantime, we selfied :).

And then there was a lot of this...

Ashby adores Andrea!

Trying to take a picture and well...this is pretty typical.

All of the kiddos sitting down to eat their dinners (the grownups ate too!).

 After dinner, we had cupcakes!

This picture!

Ashby was so happy to blow out her candles.  FOUR!  How is she already four?!

Love my little family so much!

Lots of enthusiasm for present opening!

True love.

Ashby's Popsicle Party was a HUGE success!

Ashby's actual birthday is on Thursday, and we have BIG plans for that day too!  Basically, we're celebrating all week :).

And for lunch today (or a side or a light dinner), you need to make this...

You. will. love. it.
